Discreet Supercar Sales
Sell a supercar discreetly without public exposure
Discretion-driven matchmaking for supercar sellers who do not want a public listing, a comment section, or a permanent price record. NDA-protected, qualified buyers only, typical close in 2 to 4 weeks.
Selling a supercar publicly is a marketing event. Photos and asking price are indexed by search engines. Strangers leave commentary. Once the hammer falls (at auction) or the listing closes (at BaT), the price becomes a permanent comparable that follows the car forever. For most sellers this is fine. For some it is genuinely incompatible with how they want to manage the transaction.
Who needs discretion
- Known professionals and executives. A name tied to a Bugatti Chiron sale is a search-result risk.
- Public figures and celebrities. Either selling personally or through a representative, the public-listing exposure compounds existing media attention.
- Family-office principals. Office staff handle the transaction; the principal's identity stays out of the chain entirely.
- Divorce proceedings. Both attorneys want a clean, documented sale at fair value without becoming part of court filings or media scrutiny.
- Business succession. Founder is liquidating personal assets prior to a transaction (M&A, IPO, family transition) and wants no public-facing footprint.
- Estate liquidation. Executors prefer to close cars without dropping their late client's name into a searchable auction archive.
What discretion actually means structurally
A discreet sale has four characteristics:
- No public listing. No photos, VIN, asking price, or seller identity appear on a public site.
- NDA-protected information sharing. Every prospective buyer signs an NDA before receiving any seller information.
- No public price record post-sale. The transaction does not generate an auction archive entry, a hammer-price database row, or a closed-listing record on a marketplace site.
- Direct payment flow. Buyer pays seller directly (wire or third-party escrow of parties' choice). No payment intermediary captures or distributes the transaction data.
Fast Auto Exit's match-making process delivers all four. Auction house sales fail (1), (2), and (3). Public classifieds fail (1) and (3). Dealer trade-in succeeds on privacy but at significant price cost.
How NDA protection works in our process
When a prospective buyer signals interest in a car in our network, they receive a brief NDA via electronic signature before any seller details are shared. The NDA covers: photos, VIN, mileage, service history, asking price range, and seller identity. It prohibits the buyer from publicly re-sharing the information, marketing the listing to third parties without coming through us, or using the information to identify the seller or storage location.
Standard NDA term: 12 months. Breach remedies: injunctive relief plus damages. The NDA is electronically signed and stored. Both parties (and Fast Auto Exit) have a copy.
What the supercar buyer pool looks like
At the supercar tier (Ferrari 488 and up, Lamborghini Aventador / Huracan STO, McLaren 720S / 765LT / Senna, Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Chiron), the active buyer pool is concentrated in three identifiable groups:
- Private collectors who own 5 to 30 cars personally, transact in the 200K to 5M range, and prefer match-making over auction for privacy and timing
- Family offices acquiring on behalf of principals, transactions 500K and up, requiring thorough due diligence but closing at fair market value
- Specialty dealers and exporters for high-volume modern exotics where the buyer is filling a specific retail or international demand
We have established relationships across all three. Each matched buyer is qualified by ID verification, prior transaction history in our network, and the buyer's signed NDA before any seller information is shared.
The discreet sale workflow
- You submit at fastautoexit.com/sell-my-car/. Required: year, make, model, mileage, condition, VIN, ZIP, contact email, photos.
- Within 24 business hours we share the private market read, including recent private-network transaction history for your specific configuration, and the proposed commission disclosure.
- Both seller and buyer (when matched) sign the commission disclosure before any introduction.
- We surface your car under NDA to buyers whose profile fits. We do not show your car to every buyer in our network; we show it only to the buyers who fit the brand, price band, geography, and buyer profile.
- Qualified buyer introduction: typically under 7 days.
- You negotiate price, transport, and payment directly with the introduced buyer. Most sellers prefer wire to the seller's bank with parties' agreement on transport logistics.
- Closing: buyer wires funds, buyer arranges enclosed transport, title transfers per state DMV. We invoice the match-making commission separately to each side after closing.
What we do not do
- We do not list your car publicly on any site, ever.
- We do not name you or your car in any marketing material, social post, or press communication.
- We do not enter the transaction into any public price database.
- We do not share your contact information with anyone other than a buyer who has signed an NDA covering your listing.
