Sell a luxury car near me
Match-making service for luxury and exotic car sellers in all 50 US states plus DC. Our buyer network reaches every county. Buyers arrange enclosed transport from the seller's location at the buyer's cost.
Selling a luxury or exotic car "near me" is functionally the same problem as selling it anywhere in the country, because the qualified buyer pool is national (and increasingly international). Local proximity matters for transport scheduling and pickup logistics, but it does not constrain the buyer pool. Here is how that actually plays out.
Why "near me" is the wrong question for luxury cars
For a daily-driver under 40K, "near me" matters. Buyers want to inspect in person, negotiate face-to-face, and drive the car home same-day. The buyer pool is local because the transaction friction is high if it is not.
For a luxury or exotic car valued 40K and up, the calculus is different. The buyer pool is national or international. The buyer hires enclosed transport from wherever the car is to wherever they want it. The buyer's pre-purchase inspection is conducted by a marque specialist at the car's current location, not in the buyer's garage. Geography is a transport-cost variable, not a buyer-pool constraint.
What "local" actually means in our process
- Pickup logistics. The car stays at your current address (home garage, climate-controlled facility, dealer service department, mechanic's shop). Buyer's transport carrier picks up there.
- Local state DMV. Title transfer happens per your state's DMV procedures. The buyer registers in their own state.
- State sales tax. Determined by buyer's state of registration, not by where the car is currently. We are not the tax filer; the buyer's state DMV collects.
- Local lender (if applicable). If the car has a lien, the lender's payoff is wired by the buyer's bank to the lender. The lender then releases the lien per their standard process.
How we cover every state
Our buyer network includes private collectors, specialty dealers, and exporters with national geographic distribution. We do not maintain physical infrastructure in any state because we never take possession of cars. The car stays where it is until the buyer's transport picks it up.

What sellers in different states should know
States with high seller-side activity
California, Florida, Texas, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada produce the bulk of our luxury seller submissions. Buyer-pool depth is correspondingly strong; match times are typically at the fast end of our 7-day window.
States with high buyer-side activity but lower seller volume
Buyers from these states actively buy cars sourced from elsewhere, even if the seller submission volume from these states is lower: Wyoming (no state income tax), Montana (LLC structures for luxury vehicle registration), New Hampshire (no sales tax), Delaware (corporate registration), South Dakota (LLC residency). Sellers in any state can be matched to a buyer in these states; we coordinate the transport logistics.
States with niche export-buyer activity
Texas, Florida, California, and New York have active export-buyer networks (cars destined for Europe, Middle East, and Asia). If your car is in one of these states and the configuration has international demand, the exporter channel may be the right match.
How to submit from your state
Submit your car at fastautoexit.com/sell-my-car/. The form takes about 3 minutes. Include your ZIP code in the location field so we can coordinate transport logistics with the eventual buyer.
